The Walnut City Council approved the authorization of the City Manager to offer a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person(s) responsible for the burglary of the Mora home.
The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department has indicated that the Mora home on the 21600 block of Brookside Court was burglarized on October 26, 2011. Mr. George Mora was murdered at his home on October 19, 2011. Effectively, this crime has left Mr. George Mora’s four children with little personal items. At this time there are no suspects.
In the interest of justice, the City of Walnut is encouraging anyone with information regarding this burglary to come forward and notify the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department’s Detective Bureau at (909) 595-2264.
