Effective January 1, 2013, Section 87505 requires city and county clerks who maintain a website to post a notification on the website related to Form 700 which includes the following:
• A list of names and position titles for each of the elected officer identified in Section 87200
• A statement that copies of the SEIs (Statements of Economic Interests) for these elected officers may be obtained by visiting the office of the Fair Political Practices Commission (FPPC) or the City Clerk’s office as well as the physical address for both locations.
• A link to the FPPC’s website and a statement that SEIs filed by certain state and local government agency elected officers are available in electronic format on the FPPC’s website.
